By partnering and collaborating with other local nonprofit organizations as well as state and municipal programs, SALT has screened and catalogued sources of supportive services available to its tenants While SALT does not provide peripheral services or direct counseling to its Tenants, we have worked diligently with these external resources so that we can refer our Tenants to appropriate sources of additional assistance.
Currently we have outside referrals available in the following areas:
- Homeowner education classes
- Pre-purchase counseling (Homebuyer)
- Mortgage delinquency counseling
- Credit repair
- Financial education and coaching
- Where to go for free tax returns
- Where to find quality low cost child care
- Help in finding loans for emergency financial assistance
- Linking individuals and families to health care providers and AHCCCS experts
- Helping to identify transportation solutions
- Guiding tenants to resources for job training and educational advancement
