SALT is ecstatic to announce that between September of 2024-August 2025, we will have limited funding available to help SALT tenant families in critical need of rental assistance. We are thankful to our partners Wells Fargo Foundation and Washington Federal (WaFd) Foundation for providing funding to help make this program possible.
The SALT Tenant Rental Assistance Program guidelines are below:
Program Eligibility Criteria:
Households must be 80% AMI or below. The renter has a risk of eviction, homelessness or housing instability demonstrated by the following:
- Past due rent
- Past due utility / utility shutoff notice
- Recent loss of job or serious illness/injury impacting ability to work
- Death of a household member
- Family member recently incarcerated
- Any other evidence of housing instability
Priority will be given to:
- Households with children and adults over the age of 60
- Households with members with documented disabilities
- Veterans
Terms of this program are subject to change without notice.
